| When the city of South Bend is mentioned with anything to do with fishing, images of classics such as Truck Orenos , Surf Orenos and Vacuum baits come to mind.This image shows another South Bend classic the Studebaker pick up truck. Studebaker was based out of South Bend, Indiana.They were one of Americas largest independent auto makers.They produced trucks from the early 1900's until 1964. Studebakers first trucks were electric powered. I really like this old family fishing trip photo. Father with his belt worn sheath knife. Young son , dog and daughter outfitted with fly rod and creel in the bed of the old Studebacker with an inflatable raft. |
