1925 Fishing Tackle manufacturers



       This is an interesting Popular Mechanics article from Feb. 1925. I like the images of folks assembling the old tackle in the factory. Especially the one showing the lady putting the glass eyes on the Heddon Dowagiac wooden Vamp minnows. This article shows the important role females played in manufacturing artificial baits, bamboo rods and casting reels in the 1920's.
